Associate of Arts in Business

by Natalie
(Portland, OR)

I am currently attending University of Phoenix - Axia College online. I am pursuing my associate of arts in business online. My learning experience has mostly been very enriching with University of Phoenix. The coursework is challenging and exciting. The quality of courses I have taken have been very good, and the learning materials are convenient because all of your books are online.

Most of the professors I have worked with have been easy to get a hold of, and very willing to help. I have only had a few professors that I maybe clashed with. I think the majority of the professors I have worked with were concerned about helping me succeed. The faculty and administration for this school are mostly all fabulous. I recently took a math course and one of the tutors at that location was always late and very slow.

My interaction with other students has only been through the online classroom forums. The online tools I have used have included the text books, syllabus, video lectures and university library. Distance learning has been fitting my needs as far as schedule goes. The cost is still very expensive. The only thing I can say about the cost, is that my financial adviser doesn't seem very eager to help me find scholarships and grants to lower the cost of my tuition.

Overall, I would definitely say that University of Phoenix is a good way to earn a degree. They offer good support in many ways. My academic counselor has been AMAZING. She is very easy to talk to, and always gets back with me in a timely manner. I recommend University of Phoenix to anyone who wants a fresh start on life, and wants to earn a degree to get a better paying job or a career.
