Western International University

Western International University (WIU) is a non-traditional distance learning university that requires no classroom attendance. Bachelor's and master's degree programs prepare students for leadership positions in business and technology fields. WIU's global-oriented curriculum combines the practical and the theoretical in an international educational environment.

Accelerated and guided self-study programs are designed for adults who already have work experience. WIU's innovative online education provides a live learning environment by connecting students to real classrooms in real time. Students can interact with other students and faculty, just like in regular classrooms. Students have the option of attending the live class online or listening to a recording of the classroom session.

Financial aid counselors help students apply for Federal loans such as Stafford and PLUS as well as private loans and grants. Western International University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. GI Jobs magazine named WIU a Military Friendly School.
