Construction Management course

by Justin
(Denver, CO)

I started attending westwood college a little over a year ago. So far I have not one complaint. My academic advisor is always available to talk to. My program director is very knowledgeable and has degrees and experience working in the construction industry.

I take night classes, never had a problem with attendance issues or financial assistance issues. Every three terms my paperwork is submitted and my funds are released to the school. The material that is being taught is great. It is focused on my industry, they don't beat around the bush with any of it. All of my instructors have multiple degrees in engineering and architecture.

Earlier last year I had massive brain surgery in the middle of a semester of class and had to miss three weeks of schools being bed redden. Before my surgery I had talked with my instructors, program director and campus president and they all assured me that I would not be dropped from my classes and that i could resume them as soon as I got back. Just like they said three weeks later I was back in class as normal catching up on my schoolwork.

So overall my experiences at Westwood have been great. I know that it is more expensive than most all traditional schools, but I am paying more because it works with my schedule. I cannot afford to go to day classes, and I didn't want to go to school for four years. So now i go at nights and will receive my bachelors degree in three years. Great school for me, I know others have complaints, but for me it has been great.
